Progress has been made! As promised, here's the photo of Clapotis. I really like the way the colors are working up and the dropped stitches really look like waves. I'm using Magic Stripes, in the Blue Regatta colorway. So far I've used one skein. I have three more skeins on the way. I think it will probably take one more plus some. The third skein is to make a pair of matching socks.
